More than 250 people have been arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of continuing federal border security actions, according to authority reports.

Widening Federal Operations

Charlotte constitutes the most recent American city to face heightened federal involvement, following similar measures in major metropolitan areas like Chicago and Los Angeles earlier this year. Federal authorities have stated that those detained include individuals with criminal backgrounds and street gang participants.
