A Pair of Suspects Accused for Inmate Homicide of Ex-Lostprophets Vocalist Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges in the wake of the incarceration fatality of one-time Lostprophets vocalist and convicted child sex offender Ian Watkins.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 stand indicted for homicide and will appear before Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by law enforcement officials.
Watkins, forty-eight, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after admitting a string of sex offences including the effort to sexually assault an infant.
Watkins was arrested after the execution of a drugs warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a significant quantity of computers, mobile phones and data storage units were seized.
